I was watching Shawn last night present Dubai Chocolate. If anyone is interested I saw Dubai chocolate this morning at Costco. I didn't pay a lot of attention to it but it was around $25 for a container.

It's very expensive and I don't know if it's the pistachio paste or the shredded phylo dough that raises the price.

I know it's not imported from Dubai, well maybe some of it, because my daughters sister-in-law owns a chocolate shop and they make it there.

I'm curious but didn't buy.  Anyone try the chocolate?

Is phyllo dough always an ingredient?

When I was on vacation last month in New England, I tried some Dubi Chocolate. There are candy shops there, making their own. So, there are brands out there making Dubi chocolate. I purchased the dark chocolate version. It was expensive, about $10 per 4 oz bar. I loved it. I want some more. We have a local candy shop here that makes it.

It is an expensive treat.

I have never tried the brand name Dubi chocolate, the brand that exploded on social media. The original is Dubi Chocolate, I guess. Looked at QVC, and they are calling it Dubi Style Chocolate. I would check local shops.

My local supermarket had it last Christmas for $18.00 a bar! After the holidays it went down to $12.

Yesterday it was on qvc from Russell Stover, indivually wrapped pieces.
it's a craze everybody is selling now. I am sure some is better than others but everyone is getting in on it.

I had not heard of it.  I had to look it up.

Thanks for the detailed information @Mary Bailey .  I've been interested in trying it, but not at that price point.  And what if I loved it and had to have it all the time?  Yikes, I'd go broke.  LOL
