@lolakimono  do you know how the Shout wipes compare to the Tide Pen.  I keep those pens with me at work and in my purse and always have a couple of spares at home.  If the wipes work better, I'll probably look for those the next time I'm out.

I have had both, but I prefer the wipes because I think the pen tends to dry out, and who wants to rub a new stain with something that's already touched a stain?

My husband always drops food, me..rarely.  I find it a bit irritating, honestly.

@lolakimono   I bought these for my mother (95 years old this month).  She loves them.  The bottom snaps are the "crumb catcher" that opens just enough when she sits down to eat.

Great idea.  I could easily make one of those.

If I'm going to eat something sloppy, I use a nice patterned napkin (Southwest of course), attached with a chain with two hooks.(Amazon)

My late husband liked to eat in his easy chair.  His "bib" was a kitchen towel.  Less work than converting a shirt into a bib and easier to wash the grease stains out.

An estimated 700,000 people around the world, 400,000 of them children, have died so far due to the discontinuation of the USAID program.

Re: Dignity Bib

[ Edited ]

For my parents?  How about for me?  I swear women with big boobs have a shelf to catch stuff on.  Otherwise that food would be in my lap. I have a few friends who agree with me.

I have friends who used to own a plastics company.  One of their products was a plastic bib with a pocket on the bottom.  It was sold to restaurants that featured lobster.  My girlfriend was a commercial artist who made a tidy sum creating different pictures on these bibs.

If you are on FB, check out this non-profit.

The lady who runs it can make all sorts of things.

I do not have FB account but I will pass along to my agency supervisor! We are federal/state funded so everything must go through an approved purchase order. If we can't get things in bulk for pennies, we cannot buy them. Our current adult napkins were made by volunteers. Thanks!

To me a bib is practical, just as aprons used to be. They don't strike me as undignified when worn at home or in a care facility.
