Conrad is so handsome - . Those birds are eating me out of house and home - feeders almost all empty. The hummer feeders are completely empty - all of them and I have not seen a Hummer. They must be leaking again - they sure do that. In the old days they NEVER leaked. Guess I had best get a move on.

Let ditty in the house for a few minutes yesterday. He was soooo funny. Walked slowly around checking everything. He is quite the character. Fed him already this morning and he ate well then went around checking what was going on in the neighborhood - nothing much I guess.

My weekend was uneventful.  I felt like browsing my local Meijers yesterday.  Usually I stick to a list and get in and out.  Yesterday I looked around.  I picked up a nice pair of dearfoam slippers for my sister.  They remind me of the really nice clog type slippers we wore over a decade ago.  Checked out the jammies - whatever happened to decent flannel pajamas?  

I had an oil change and tire rotation this morning then hit a smaller mall.  I thought, when I couldn't find suede lined gloves online that I might find them in the stores.

We're turning into a synthetic nation.

Bernie,  You are so right about  all the synthetics that permeate almost every product that's out there.   I am always on the lookout for 100% cotton, silk, rayon, wool, even bamboo as they are all natural fibers, etc.  I don't like wearing "oil" which is the basis for polyester and some of the other materials they are putting into our clothing, bedding, shoes etc.   I'd rather pay a bit more for cotton shirts.   So many of the things I like from Denim and Company have 5% stretchy stuff in them.   I want 100% cotton shirts, undies, shorts, etc.
