Mousie,  Your pups are precious. Really they are so  cute and fluffy looking.   Sleeping like little angels.   Which is the girl and which is Remy?.

I have often tried to picture them from your descriptions.  Thanks for sharing their photo.   Have a good weekend and don't work to hard on the decorations.   Your house sounds beautiful.

I decorated many rooms in the house long ago, but only one tree for the most part. .   My sister in law's older sister has 6 or 7 trees in her house.  With just my brother and I and usually me leaving on Christmas day most of the time,  I don't even put one up.  I do put a few ornaments on the Norfork pine.  It's a living house plant,  very old, over 30 years.    I miss all of that fun and WORK, but time changes customs and things.

A head scratch and hug for the pups.

@possummink  Sleeping is the only time they are little angels, lol.  This is Remmy.DSCF4228.JPG

Is remmy the more white blonde of the two?

Re: December 2015 Bird's Nest - Where Bells are Ringing

I've been up since before the crack of dawn and am having a productive day. I edited my DVD collection and in addition to several boxed sets of TV series/movie series, gathered some other items, including some Christmas decor and some accessories for donation to the Salvation Army.

I've made the donation, stuffed myself with pizza for lunch and am heading outside (dressed very warmly) to string up the Christmas lights.  It's not terribly cold, but if my feet or neck gets cold, it's all over for me, lol.

@Bird mama  Yes, and I posted another picture which shows him better.  It was taken a few months after I adopted him. The first picture of the two, was taken recently on a kitchen chair, notice it is covered in a blanket.  I havn't seen the chairs since I bought them, lol, all are covered.

Re: December 2015 Bird's Nest - Where Bells are Ringing

Well for pete's sake.  I updated my bird of the day spreadsheet, at work and failed to send an updated copy to my home email.

Forgive the pun, I am winging it this weekend and Monday, lol.

The bird for the weekend is the Bearded Buff Laced Polish Chicken

This is probably naive - I hope people don't eat this kind of chicken, it looks like it's packed with personality

Mousie,  Remy is so darn cute.  He looks so cudddly.  Is he like that and the same with The Girl.  Is that her name?  Both of them are really cute little pups.   Kind of makes me wish I had a dog again, but I am not up to 'walking' them and this property is not fenced.  I still have my big overhead run wire for the Dobermans.  The chain and pully are still hanging by the kitchen door.  All I need is another Doberman.  If I could find one like my last one, Ace,  I'd have him in a heartbeat.  Awesome protector and 'shadow'.  Heart

@possummink

My dog Max passed away in 2008 and every once in a blue moon I think, I wonder if I should open up my home to another dog?  Then Grayson, the pigeon who thinks he's a dog comes running up to me like he's seeing the greatest thing since sliced bread and I realize, I have a dog - with wings.

Awww,  Birdmama,   I love the way you describe Grayson running up to you like you are the greatest thing since sliced bread.  Sounds so doggone sweet.   He'd probably peck anyone who tried to bother you, but good  and then beat them with his wings.  He surely is a unique little critter.  I'd tell you to give him a tummy rub and a head scratching, but I don't know if birds like that stuff.   Maybe an extra treat, if he gets treats.  Heart
