Hello my friends! Had another nice day today - and tomorrow and Thursday I'm back taking care of the twins again - from what I hear, they just don't want to go to sleep, and are fussy too much. Would you please say a prayer for them that they can settle down and sleep - and that Darla can get some rest too? She is thinking of getting a night nurse, it's getting so hard. Prayers help, so I've been praying for them. May God soothe them, and bring them to sleep, it sure would be nice if they could sleep through the night. They are over two months now. When we stayed overnight there, they just went back to sleep after fed, guess they don't now. Counting on your prayers and I thank you!!!

Praying the twins get some sleep, so Darla can get some rest.
It sounds like when they get something to eat they get some sleep,
but I guess you can't be feeding them all the time.
Maybe the doctor will put them on cereal in a while.
Blessings to all.

Hi Gloria, sorry to hear about the twins fussing all night. They seem to do things differently these days with feeding babies. When mine were a few weeks old or so we were advised to start them on cereal. Always started with rice, just a little in their night time bottle. Seemed to do the trick and carry them thru the night, not hungry.
So frustrating to try everything and still have crying babies.
Losing sleep every night is certainly no fun. Hope this resolves itself, so everyone can rest. Marmot

Good morning,
I'll pray for the girls and Darla. Just my opinion, of course, but I say the babies aren't satisfied enough at their feedings. I know Darla is breast feeding but she may need to supplement with formula that has baby cereal in it. I remember you saying, Gloria, that her doctor said no to that. Just my own experience with a baby that wasn't satisfied until I added cereal to his formula. Bless their hearts.
Friends, please say mighty prayers for a lady named Karen. I don't know her and she's only an acquaintance of my daughter. Yesterday, Karen learned she has a rare cancer. She's a single Mother, has 4 kids, 2 young. Works 2 jobs, 7 days a week. My daughter said she's so sweet. My heart hurts for this young woman. She has a lot on her already and now, this cancer diagnosis. Please...ask the Lord to strengthen her and put the right doctors on her case. She needs a lot of prayer for many reasons. Thanks.
My son is driving down today to attend a funeral of a friend. The man died suddenly, leaving behind a family. Pray for this family. Pray for my son as he travels. Thank you.
So much going on in this world. I pray for our world.
God bless you all. Have a good day.

Good morning ladies -- Gloria, thank you for the wonderful inspiration today. I just wonder if the babies have an allergy to the milk?? It seems to me that they have one or both of these issues, either they are still hungry after feeding, or they have sore tummies after feeding. That's just me, but I can't see any other reason for not sleeping. When our oldest had to take some medicine, he cried constantly - it turned out he was allergic to that medicine. When they changed it, he was fine.
I pray that this issue can be solved. Everyone needs to get some sleep.
Oh NJ - you make our day, too, when we hear from you. Please continue to stop by as much as you can.
Harlene - nice to hear from you today, enjoy it.
Meallen - thanks so much for the beautiful pics. today. Just wonderful!!
marmot24 - wonderful to hear from you today, hope you enjoy the day.
HeresLucy - I am so sad to hear about Karen, what an awful news report for her and her family. My prayers for her will be many and often. Prayers for your son's safe trip today and the family's sad event they have to deal with today.
Hope all find strength to take each day at a time and the healing they can begin to experience.
Daily prayers for this scary and sad world, that we may all find blessings somewhere along the journey we take each day. That even the very little things can make us smile.
Have wonderful day all!!

Thanks for your prayers concerning the twins sleeping. And Lucy, it's my opinion too, but she is only going by what her pedriatition says, and she says no solid foods until four months. They don't seem to be hungry though, after their feedings, they are satisfied, must be gas, Alyssa does have acid reflux and is getting some baby zantac for that in her milk.
Seems to help her. With my girls, they got solids in two weeks, but Darla says that with more studies, that that can cause food allergies. Says she has had stomach problems all her life. Lori didn't but she did.
So who knows for sure?
