Hello my friends! It was so nice to have Lori over for supper tonight! She said she had a meeting with someone near here, and she was coming right after. Well she was disgusted, the meeting was someone who tried to coax her into signing up with Melenuca! Not interested. It's expensive too. I know good products, but you sure pay alot for them. Any multi-level is that way. Guess what I served? All left overs and she loved it, and took the rest home, so I can start fresh now again. Darla's ultra sound and doctor's appointment was good, blood pressure down, Praise God! It looks like the twins want to come out naturally, please pray for no complications! She said they passed all their tests!! Smart twins!
There is much wisdom in knowing what to overlook. Lord, may I take
every opportunity to praise and choose carefully when I feel the need
to criticize.

M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y
A consciousness of God's presence as one who loves us can make all life
different. The consciousness of God's love can promote the opening of
our whole being to God. It can bring wonderful relief from the cares
and worries of our daily lives. Relief can bring peace and peace can
bring contentment. We can try to walk in God's love. We can have a
contentment that no one can take from us. We can feel sure of God's
unfailing love and care for us and for all God's children. There is
freedom and serenity in those who walk in God's love, held safe in God's
loving care.
P R A Y E R F O R T H E D A Y
I pray that I may walk in God's love. I pray that, as I go, I may feel
the spring of God's power in my steps and the joy of God's love in my
heart.
THE SILVERSMITH

Some time ago, a few ladies met in a certain city to study the
scriptures. While reading the third chapter of Malachi, they came
upon a remarkable expression in the third verse:
"And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver (Malachi 3:3)"
One lady proposed to visit a silversmith, and report to them on what
he said about the subject. She went accordingly, and without telling
the object of her errand, begged the silversmith to tell her about
the process of refining silver.
After he had fully described it to her, she asked, "But Sir, do you
sit while the work of refining is going on?"
"Oh, yes madam," replied the silversmith; "I must sit with my eyes
steadily fixed on the furnace, for if the time necessary for refining
be exceeded in the slightest degree, the silver will be injured."
The lady at once saw the beauty, and comfort too, of the expression,
"He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver." God sees it
needful to put His children into a furnace; His eye is steadily
intent on the work of
purifying, and His wisdom and love are both engaged in the best
manner for us. Our trials do not come at random, and He will not let
us be tested beyond what we can endure.
Before she left, the lady asked one final question, "When do you know
the process is complete?"
"Why, that is quite simple," replied the silversmith. "When I can see
my own image in the silver, the refining process is finished."

Glory Be To Jesus and Mary
A letter written by the Blessed Virgin Mary to the City of Messina where St. Paul, the Apostle preached the gospel, which has been preserved in the Reliquary of the great altar.
"I, Mary Virgin, servant of God, very humble Mother of Jesus Christ, Son of God, the Almighty and Eternity, to all who are in Messina, health and benediction in Our Lord. You have learned by the ambassadors who have been sent to you. You received the gospel and you acknowledged that the Son of God has become man, and has suffered the passion and death for the salvation of the world, and that He is Christ and also the true Messiah. I beseech you to persevere, promising to you, and all your posterity, to assist you in the presence of My Son."

The best protection against this indulgence is thanksgiving. It is impossible to thank Me and curse Me at the same time.
Thanking Me for trials will seem awkward and contrived at first. But if you persist, your thankful words, prayed in faith, will eventually make a difference in your heart. Thankfulness awakens you to My Presence, which overshadows all your problems.”
Psalm 116:17 (NKJV) – I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the Lord.
Philippians 4:4-6 – Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
