I lived in the Las Vegas, NV area for 13 years and I do not miss the "summer."  I found I can deal with the cold much better than the heat.

I'm getting tired of these 100+ days. I'm not even in the mood to put up my Autumn decorations.

I have sympapthy for those of you who live were it's really hot most of the time.  However, I am starting to feel depressed because we rarely get hot days and once they are gone, it goes immediately to cold.  And it's starting already! We don't get much in the way of happy medium.  I am thinking -- we have been putting up with all this virus stuff and at least we had nice weather where we could be outside and enjoy the warmth and sun -- but now with winter coming -- oh, man -- I am not looking forward to it --- at all!

It's lightweight coat weather here. Our weather has been way below the average for this time of year. Afternoons are lovely but evenings and nights are chilly.  I'm never ready for winter.

Re: Come on Mother Nature...It’s September already

Over my almost 70 yrs. in NC, I've seen definite changes in the 4 seasons to almost 2...hot weather to cold. After enduring 90 degree heat, today is 70 and tomorrow is supposed to be 60.

I'm looking forward to cooler weather (sweaters!!!), but fear many people forced indoors may increase the spread of the pandemic.

@Meowingkitty

I’m in Florida and completely understand!

It is usually the last week in October when my perfect weather arrives but it came a bit early last year and I’m hoping it does this year, too.

I'm tired of being indoors. I want to go for a walk, sit outside by the bbq and have a drink and get into my car without sweating.

I'm in Maryland, and I was finally able to put on a hooded sweatshirt today.  It felt so cozy!

We had a brutal summer -- hot and humid -- but no where near as hot as Arizona.

I couldn't take that level of heat.  Of course, I guess you can get used to anything.

It is a gloriously sunny, 66 degree day here in the mid-Atlantic. I'm empathetic to all of you experiencing hot weather, because last year we had a very hot September and it was still 90+ the first week of October. I hate the heat, so I know how you are feeling! I hope you cool down soon. As I've been walking around today, I have noticed how cheerful people are when the weather is good, in spite of everything that is going on. We all need that mood boost!
