@SleeplessinSD   posted this in the monthly GH thread as already acknowledged. I want it here also for my own future reference.

GH News: Haley Pullos Sentenced to Jail

Micki Swift

General Hospital’s Molly Haley Pullos sentenced to jail

Reports of GH’s star’s ongoing situation began back in May of 2023. On May 17th, it was reported that the then 24 year old Haley Pullos was arrested for a DUI. General Hospital’s Molly Lansing Davis Ashford was going the wrong way in a California freeway when she hit another vehicle on the opposite side. Alcohol and marijuana play a role in the tragic event.

According to People.com, Pullos was set to be sentenced this upcoming July. Instead, the General Hospital star won’t have to wait that long for sentencing. A statement from Pullos’s lawyer, Mark Daniel Melnick informs fans that Haley surrendered to 90 days in jail on Monday, April 29th. Additionally, the 25 year old will serve a 5 year probation with 200 community service hours, along with having to pay $8,260 to the victim, Courteney Wilder.

Pullos’s lawyer spoke on her behalf about the outcome. “Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety,” Melnick noted.

I hope she showed some remorse. From reading earlier reports there didn't seem to be any. The amount of money she will have to pay also seems minimal compared to the damage she did.

Re: Checking In with "Soap" Friends

@Tique Forgive the intrusion into this thread, if it is one, but it popped up while I was here this morning. I don't understand why you want to separate yourself here. You are truly missed on the other thread and I would hope you will rejoin us there.

I said it then when you asked me to take over and I will say it now. If you are ready to come back and take back what you did so well for years, the thread is yours. I did then and I do now consider myself a placeholder.

I think it's silly that a soap thread on a home shopping board has led to a separation of friends, but you are welcome back any time as thread leader starting today if you miss it and want back in or as a contributor if you would rather not have the day to day responsibility.

I keep it going because no one else has claimed tag I am it which anyone can do at anytime, including you if you need permission to do so, which you don't. You were the best at what you did.

Whatever you decide to do, know that you are welcome and I think everyone would be thrilled to see you again. I may have kept the thread up, but it obviously according to some of the comments here, doesn't have the depth that you brought to it which is understandable.

I hope you consider my sincere welcome back and I really would hand the thread back to you in a heartbeat, no questions asked, if you are ready to lead it once again. If not, I will leave you to this thread and your soap friends and I won't wave hello again.

My invitation and sincerity is an open door with no time limit. I hope to see you back leading the charge if that's what you want today or at some point in the future. If not, I really do wish you and everyone else well here. Smiley HappyHeart

@Laura14  thank you. I appreciate the above more than you know.

ETA: No it was not an intrusion. As someone used to like to remind me: QVC already has moderators. Sadly I didn't make the cut. 😂

Re: Checking In with "Soap" Friends

@KBEANS  thank you for being You.

I am happy that NLG is getting someone who may be some kind of match for her. I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of hers but that is more about her personal character rather than her character's character. Thoroughly enjoyed her scenes with Natalia. Everyone else seems to let her run over then but Alexis didn't. I didnt watch Santa Barbara but I am familiar with Lane Davies and yes, Shorty may feel a little threatened.

Looks like Ava is going to be pushed to the side soon. Not sure if that will be the result of Carly's accusations/discovery but I did read Sonny will be attending "the wedding" with Blaze's overbearing mama. Hope so. Would love to see Ava's reaction to that.

GH’s Kirsten Storms May Have A New Career

Ashley Amber

Storms plays a fashionista, but she’s also one in real life.

Kirsten Storms, who recently celelbrated a milestone birthday, has been playing Maxie on General Hospital for nearly two decades. But the actress recently revealed another passion of hers that may turn into her next career move.

Real-Life Fashionista

On the latest episode of Daily Drama, hosted by GH's Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson,  the actors asked Storms about her love of knitting and crocheting sweaters. “I’m constantly making sweaters. Harper has way more than she would actually like,” she joked about her daughter with Days of Our Lives’ Brandon Barash).

“I made one for Becky Herbst the other day,” she continued. “I mixed, maybe, 25 different types of yarn in the jacket, so hers specifically took me, like, a week and a half.”

Storms also delved into the positive effect it’s had on her mental health. “It’s a cognitive behavioral exercise,” she explained. “It’s really meditative for me.”

Taking Care Of Business

When Burton asked why she doesn’t have her own line, Storms admitted it’s something she’s considered. “I purchased a website name, I bought tags,” she revealed. “But so much goes into making them that I think I need time to stock up on a bunch of sweaters.”...

@Coquille   I hope you are okay and not posting because you have nothing to say. I want to discuss something with you but not if you are dealing with personal things. Clue me in. Please.

Re: Checking In with "Soap" Friends

@Tique  Good Morning, I've been really busy with family issues🙄. I'm peaking in this am because I'm going to try to do absolutely nothing today but relax.

Enough about me, how are you?

Re: Checking In with "Soap" Friends

@Coquille   I am doing well physically, mentally, and emotionally. Have also been dealing with some family issues but they seem to have leveled off. It's usually not advisable to say/think that because as soon as you do, something else pops up. Enjoy your day.

Get ready for our next chapter.

Re: Checking In with "Soap" Friends

@Tique @and @Yahooey, A huge hello to two very nice people!

Thank you Tique for alerting me that or was said that maybe I cracked up, maybe I was in jail, and maybe I left the planet.

It was not a planned absence, and I really did not think anybody would miss me for long.  Just an array of health issues that led me to become depressed and sad, so I just stopped coming.  I am fine now, really.  I never fault anyone for coming to the forums for advice and support.  Just me. being me, I guess.

Friends where I live have either passed away or moved far away in retirement.  This is the bane of old age.  Years ago I used to volunteer at a residence for the sick elderly poor.  I so loved being there.  But had to quit when my back started up, and of course COVID meant that places like that could never take volunteers in, which I understand.  People there used to say, "Oh, you are so outgoing!"  And I would reply, "When I am here."

Hobbies?  I took Early American painting lessons for years and loved it.  But when my last teacher stopped, it was time to give it up. I can draw a little, but was happy painting from patterns.  Everybody in family has much of my stuff, and I have enough.

My family needed help when I graduated high school, so I got a job.  Years later, after marriage, I started college when our youngest started school.  Went part-time, graduated with a four year degree.  I worked for quite a few hears.

So here I am.  Most days I do not feel my age.  I stopped watching all the news shows because cruelty and death make me cray-cray.  We are still in our family home, too big but we love it.  Our GC are a boy of 16 and girl of 12.  I am proud of them both for many things, and best of all they are good and kind children.

My hubs turned 83, and looks and acts so much younger.  We have worked long and hard, but the Lord has blessed us beyond what we deserve.

The story of me!  I am still learning.  And thank you both for being you, and caring.  I am touched and humbled.

Your friend,

Pam
