GH News and Spoilers: Tabyana Ali Speaks On Nicholas Chavez’s GH Exit As Sprina Must Come To An End

General Hospital fans were shocked when what they thought was a temporary leave turned into a permanent exit. GH news and spoilers reports confirmed that Nicholas Alexander Chavez would be absent from the 62 year old daytime drama series indefinitely.

Previously, Nicholas Chavez shared his confirmation and sentiments regarding his departure. This news was very unexpected, some GH fans saw it coming. Recent social media activity served as clues foreshadowed the current situation with Chavez and his role as Spencer Cassadine.

Now, GH spoilers reveal that co-Star Tabyana Ali speaks on Nicholas Chavez’s GH exit. “It was great creating Sprina together with him,” she admitted. “I want the best for him and all of his endeavors, and I hope that we will get the chance to work together again someday.”

Ali’s character, Trina Robinson suffered greatly when she lost Spencer, the love of her life. As far as Trina is concerned, only one woman is to blame. Now, Tabyana admits that she wishes her character will make a statement so to speak. According to Soaps In Depth, Ali said, “It might be a long shot, but I really wanted [her] to turn into some cool, edgy, if I can say- excuse my French- badass,” disclosing her hope for Trina’s future. “I want her to just be… just cool, to have another side of her.”

After all Esme Prince did a number on Trina, let alone her relationship with Spencer. Furthermore, that young woman inflicted her acrimonious acts onto many others. It only seems natural that darkness would emerge from the victim...

@Tique @Thanks for sharing. I agree with her assessment of the character. I don't want the writers to make her cool through binge drinking or drugs. They could explore her creativity through film making or another creative field.

@grandma r   I read about two weeks ago that Cyrus taped Carly at the meeting where she walked in wearing the white dress. If you remember Carly told Cyrus at that time there was no place for him. For revenge he taped her and turned the incriminating evidence over to the FBI. It was also revenge for kidnapping his mother, Florence Grey.

William deVry [Julian Jerome] is appearing in a Hallmark movie this weekend.

Hi @Tique  and all the friends.

This past week, GH was so boring, and hard for me to get through. 

I haven't watched todays episode yet. I hope it's better than it has been. 

I just settled into my recliner and I'm watching  Shawn on QVC and waiting for my husband to finish cooking something for us to eat. 

I took a flop at work this afternoon! I'm sitting here wondering where to move the heating pad next! 

I slipped on water and my legs went this way and that way. I hit my knee and somehow hit my hip area too.

I think I pulled my shoulder, put weight on my wrist and landed on my backside.

Two students picked me up. I filled out an accident report, but I think I'm just banged up. 
I immediately dropped 3 Motrin when I returned to my desk.

I just hope I don't feel any worse tomorrow. I was planning on preparing a Mother's Day meal for my mom, and was to start prepping tomorrow. 

I just feel so drained and I'm sure GH will help me get the rest I need tonight when I go to watch it! 😆

@KBEANS   adding on to the kind words of @SleeplessinSD. I am also sorry to read about your fall but thankful it happened in a place where you weren't isolated. Be kind to yourself and let your DH pick up some of the slack. Let us know how you're progressing when you feel like it.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Soap Friends. Enjoy your day ladies!

Thankfully I am doing fine after that fall. I felt a bit sore but nothing to complain about  because I know it could have been worse.

I have a bruised knee and I'm hoping nothing else pops up in the next few days.

I had planned to cook a roast and go to my moms and meet up with the siblings and their families and I am going to keep that promise!

My mom is still recovering from a fall that she took in January. She needed rehab for several weeks before coming home. 

I hope she didn't  start a trend. 😝
