@ECBG   Shanus here. We did have a bit of snow over nigt, but nothing really stuck except a little ice on the roads. The temps are going down during the day, so who knows if more snow will come. We're prepared with food, water, etc. Our biggest deal here is trees down miles away (our lines are buried) and the power goes out. Take away my TV and computer and I'm a mad woman!!! Smiley Sad

@Shanus

Won't be long until warm weather!

Our weather man says it's passing us and dumping on eastern NC.

Is the thing with "milk and bread" "milk sandwiches"?  That never made sense to me, lol!!!!!!Smiley Happy

@ECBG   Love it when you worry about me. Yes, Mommy, phone is charged and can recharge in the car if needed. The Teeter was out of bread and milk by 7PM last night, but I have an extra full freezer in the garage and keep milk frozen in jars (leave several inches at the top) in the winter and a few loaves of bread. I think people think of snow and French toast, peanut butter sandwiches and anything yummy comes to mind. You should have seen the baskets full of beer and wine, chips, salsa, etc.

@ECBG  My 1PM appt. (a bride) just canceled. She was coming from G'boro and afraid the roads would be bad going back. Probably a good thing.

The grocery choices sounds like a lot of snacking or concerns over electricity.   With D H  being a semi professional cover, we have grills and we also have a kerosene heater. I can get frozen chili or spaghetti out seaily.

@ECBG   Gas cook top and outdoor gas grill here, too. I keep a set of old pots to use outside for emergency.

We have a wood pellet grill.  It's fantastic!  You order the wood flavor you want.  We grill almost every night.Smiley Happy
