Last night Shadow got within 8 ft of a 300 lb bear!!!!

 

DH got him back.

Wow!  We have bear around here too.  Fortunately it was our neighbors who saw it taking down a bird feeder.  My biggest nightmare is one of our dogs confronting a bear or other wild creature (including venomous snakes).  So goes living in the country......

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.
