A word of caution, be very careful when you are browsing and comparing items!!!!! You might end with something you did not really order! I was comparing laptops early this morning, I wasn't buying, just comparing features. But for some reason this website put one through as an order. To make matters even worse, customer service could not cancel it.....and it had only been about 6 hours!!!! I am fortunate that it was only a $379 purchase on 5 easy pays. I'll refuse delivery and tell have U p s return it. Also, I owe a HUGE apology to the woman who posted about this happening to her. I am truly sorry that I made light of her experience. I just didn't think such a thing could happen. Now I know it can. Take care when you look at items and if you visit here thorough out the day, look at your order status often to ensure that you have no phantom orders.

Which website caused u this problem?

Yikes! There was truly NO way to cancel it? That's just wrong, especially since you didn't put anything into a 'cart' and go through the process of a check out.
Whatever website that was, if it really went down like that, that is unethical, to say the least.
I would call that company and work my way up the ladder to get it cancelled. You should not have to just let it go, be charged, and wait to refuse it. That's just wrong. If it is here you will be charged for any shipping costs involved, as well, and possibly the same with other retailers. Not only that, but some retailers charge a restocking fee on returns, especially big items and electronics.

It would be really nice to know what vendor/sales organization caused you this fraudulent sale. The law in California states that if you receive goods that YOU personally did not order, you do not have to send it/them back.
If you could prove that the vendor's ordering system was/is so scr**ed up that it interpreted your browsing as an "order," you would have a really good case.
I'd contact one of my local TV channels that has a "solve a problem for the consumer" feature.
Good luck!

6 hours for what?

I haven't had that happen to me on QVC, but have had a buyer on eBay who said she never bought an item from me~ even though I had proof she had, both from eBay and Paypal! It was some kind of electronic hiccup (I found out later).
Also, when the order goes through on QVC and it comes directly from the vendor, the order goes right to the vendor and if you try to cancel it, it will say that the order is too far into the order process to cancel. I tried to cancel a food order three hours after I ordered and this came up.... even though the actual processing took 3 or 4 days~! Please.

I ordered a magnifying mirror from QVC last week while it was being shown. Apparently the next item shown was a Vera Bradley tote and that's what they shipped me. There's no record of the mirror order so I have about $70, tied up and no mirror.

I'd ask for a CS Supervisor. Could be that they hired temporary employees for the then upcoming holiday week.
