hello all

lawn man came, he cut the lawn and fixing the siding on my house. early this year we hired a guy to power wash the house, he used such a powerful spray (gas powered engine) it literally popped off some of our siding.dh tried to fix it,but didn't have the ladder to get up close to the house. today dh texted our lawn man to see if he had those ladders, he did, he fixed the siding before he mowed the lawn. he said the siding popped right back into place. house finally looks good again

not much here today

dh and i did cleaning today.

dh did baths 2 of them

I did a lightly go over the computer room, dh helped me clean my little tv room he moved the heavy furniture. he brought out the laundry basket so i could hang out clothes.

heat hot today but nothing like the steam basket we were in for 5 days

Some days I swear I'm losing it.  I thought I posted yesterday.  It's been glorious yesterday and today weather wise.  Lower temps, no humidity, a breeze and great open window weather.  I mowed the grass yesterday and the backyard took me lots longer because I rigged a plastic bag to the handle of the lawnmower and picked up walnuts as I went along.  Suffice it to say, after the stormy weather we had earlier in the week I was doing more bending than I was walking upright   I slept like I fell into a coma last night.

@Bird mama   I know what you mean by bending, seems I spend most of my life with my nose to the floor, lol.  When I had cats, also dogs and rabbits, DH came home one night as I was bending over the litter box and said, "all I ever see is your back end," lol.

I am undergoing a massive reorganization, and this morning, DH and I cleaned out his closet getting rid of most everything as now that he works from home, he doesn't need twenty suits, pairs of shoes, etc., not to mention clothes I have never seen him wear, must be antiques, lol.  I am left to pack them for donation or tossing without his assistance. 

I was ready for war, lol, but I guess the many emails I sent for the last two days sunk in, and it went very smoothly, thank goodness, then we gardened for a while, too hot and humid for much.

Weather has been miserable lately. Yuk!! I know, haven't visited lately but just not up to it. Thought I had best stop by and say hello. Through the years we have lost so many great people who use to stop by. Have been here forever as I was in the original group that helped get this thread going. That was a long time ago

Cannot sit out and chat in this weather. So miserable and the weatherman said this morning that this week will be one of the worse we will have this summer. Not wanting to hear that as it has been so very hot and sticky.

Well,the carpet men got here about 9:15 .They were done by 1. These guys worked fast and hard and did a great job 

Now we have to put everything back together. Will make our bed and put lamps that's it,we're exhausted 😴. The guest bedroom can wait. Guess it's pizza 🍕 for dinner tonight.

I thought of you Birdmama,because your always trying DIY projects. They had a woman working W/them. She was putting the padding on the stairway,otherwise she was upstairs and I couldn't see her.
