If so, could you help me out with likes/dislikes? Do you have the individual pkgs or the combo? Have you done a lot of add-ons?
Is there another streaming service you like better?
TIA, appreciate any information. Riley1

I did get Sling when we first got streaming and got rid of cable. I added the lifetime for $5 so I could get Hallmark, Lifetime and I think HGTV.
I cancelled it about a year later because since then, so many free streaming channels have all those programs and local, and Sling is expensive I think, so not worth it at all.
Some great free streaming channels (and most you don't even need to sign up)-Roku (if you have a Roku stick),Fawsome, Filmrise,, Peacock, (though they are adding a "premium" so not as good as when they started in selection), Pluto (not a favorite but still free).
There's also vudu and tubi-think I tried those but didn't find as many things as liked.
These are easy to add and delete in one or 2 clicks so no obligation and again most you don't even sign up.
Ii would try those first before you commit to Sling.
Amazon (prime) has a lot of great British mysteries, current popular favorites, so it depends what you like.

@on the bay - thanks for the reply. Yes, we do have Roku and Amazon. Tried Pluto - I think it was and a couple of others and didn't have anything I really liked.
I was thinking Sling more for my hubby and "real" tv/news.

You're welcome and I think Youtube is another option-they are pay but have so many live tv, local and big network news, sports, etc.

@on the bay It's called YouTube TV.
YouTube is a different program/app = all videos.

Right, that's what I meant and what I usually say but just didn't get it all out😄 but I'll remember that from now.
Though as a side I can also get lost in YouTube (the other)!

We have Sling and love it. By default we also have Amazon Prime being members it is free. The only add-on is Brit so we can watch As Time Goes By and Keeping Up Appearances.
