I am retired, but although I have no actual alarm clock, I have a cat who stares into my face by 7:01 every morning. LOL

Yes! With the many years I worked Swing Shifts, alarm clocks were not necessary for me. Most of the time I had been awake and doing things long before heading to my sweat shop. Living the life now for over 30 years.

Alarm clocks after back-to-back 12 hour shifts (often turning into 16), were the bane of my existence. Locking the darn thing in a drawer was the greatest, freeing luxury --- ever.
