My cousin is an interior decorator.  She recommended Benjamin Moore Clay Beige for my living room.  I trusted her and am entirely happy with the color.  Not too dark or light.  Fantastic neutral.  My trim is a creamy white as well as my plantation shutters and it's perfect together.

@Jaspersmom They have an older formula Martha Stewart color Chopstick or Chopstix.  One of these has a slightly greener tint than the other.  But I can't remember which!  

They are both lovely but there are two almost identical colors.   Just FYI.

You might look up China Doll is a light beige paint colour with mild undertones. If you have a room with north-facing light, morning western, or afternoon eastern light, China Doll offers some warm balance to these exposures.  But it isn't so warm it looks bad in a south facing room--where we have it.

I will tell you it plays very very well with many carpet and fabric colors.  I have not found it to be an issue.  The woodwork is a creamy white and looks great.  I have a lot of cool and warm neutrals and all coordinate.

@cuddlesmama  Sherwin Wiliams Doeskin SW6044. Beautiful and takes on slightly different looks throughout the day. Warm rather than chilly with nice undertones.
