@AngelPuppy1 @SoCal Bred  I feel the same way you both do. I'm  75 years old and miss my parents more with every passing year. Of course I realize all families are different and not everyone has sweet memories. Those of us who do are very blessed.

@Luvsmyfam  She did not mean boring with her parents.

Everyone of us miss someone so try not to jump where there is nothing to jump upon and be happy for her

@Cakers3  I don't get this. If she had said "went to dinner with my family" BORING, but she mentioned the early bird special and said Boring. It's always so strange that all of us would read the same post, some get it and some don't. It happens too often. Anyway, my weekend has been great so far and i expect it to continue.

Wish I still had had my parents or my husband. Who doesn't?

Seinfeld episode Early Bird special when he visited his parents in Boca Roton Fl lol

I guess I am not sure what is on an early bird menu.  I was not sure what was boring.  But I just thought ok maybe not her thing.

@Roscoe the Rascal As I stated, a eary bird menu is quite boring and very limited.Having a meal with my parents and sister was WONDERFUL. I am amazed how posters can twist things around.Maybe ppl would

Post more if ppl were not so judgemental

@Luvsmyfam  That sounds like a very nice, enjoyable dinner. I like to eat early as well, so that's right up my alley. I'm glad you had fun. Enjoy your mom and dad! Thanks for sharing. đź’–

I apologized to her.  I misunderstood what she wrote.  I would never intentionally try to hurt somebody's feelings here.

The response from Luvsmyfam to you @AngelPuppy1  could of been written without the "OH give me a freaking break!" and "SLAM."
