My week will be short.I work Mon ,Tues and OFF Wed.I have no plans for NewYears Day.Back to work Thurs and Friday.

Nothing to exciting going on in my life at the moment,although as I stated my mamagram came back fine.This is always a big relief.

I have been off work since Christmas day...my house is clean, laundry done and put away and I worked on some of the office book work this weekend but I am ready to get back to work tomorrow.

@Luvsmyfam

I always loved short work weeks !  Congratulations on the great mammogram results: that is always a relief !

Exciting is overrated: I'll take calm and productive every time.  My corporate career always had me managing projects with deadlines imposed by folks who never understood the scope and depth of issues !  That's why I finally decided to take a package and consult solo with clients I respected.

Happy, Healthy 2025 !

I don't miss work one iota. I got laid off from my last job I held for 7 years in 2014 and it was the happiest day I had in a long time. I used to cry on Sundays when I had to go back to work. Holidays were even worse. I just hated everything about it from the commute to the mind numbing tasks. I often wished I could have stayed at my previous job because it was a fun place and the people were great but unfortunately the company went under and I had to find something new. Hard to believe I haven't worked for over 10 years. Congrats on your test results.

I remember that feeling of dread, having to go back to work after the weekend. Now that I'm retired, I often forget the day of the week. For many years, I started work at 6am (got up at 4:45). Now I try to sleep until 7.

I too have been off for past two weeks and it's time to get back into my work routine.  While I have enjoyed the time off, I get bored because there's only so much housework and laundry I can do and I have exercised into oblivion so yeah...I'm ready.

@Luvsmyfam.  Maybe you discussed this elsewhere and I missed it, but did you give your ex a Christmas gift?

My job changed to a work-from-home job when covid hit so Mondays are much easier knowing I don't have to get up early to get dressed and deal with the early morning traffic.
