Growing older is just sad.  Every year, it seems, we lose loved ones.  It is especially sad at the holidays.  My sincerest sympathies to all of them.

Thank you all for your replies. I really appreciate it. 

We also found out my MIL's sisters daughters husband passed away about a week ago. Nobody told us until today. 

It will be hard on my MIL & her sister since they live so many miles apart. I know her sister has had health problems for quite some time. 

Boy when it rains it pours. My dad is also not doing so good plus my SIL has been fighting cancer most of the year.

I think we have all had enough for now.
