Re: Angels and DH

[ Edited ]

@sarahpanda  If you should experience this again, please consider the possibility that you may be having symptoms of photopsia and may need to see an eye specialist for what may be minor or a more serious condition.  Please don't pass it off as supernatural if it recurs.

Photopsia is the presence of perceived flashes of light in the field of vision.
Several conditions affecting the eyes can cause photopsia to occur. The underlying condition must be identified and treated to resolve the symptoms.
Photopsias is defined as an effect on the vision that causes appearances of anomalies in the vision. Photopsias usually appear as:

flickering lights
shimmering lights
floating shapes
moving dots
snow or static
Photopsias are not generally a condition on their own, but a symptom of another condition.

This morning , before dawn, I went into my husband's  dark bedroom to check on him.  He has a life threatening illness and is currently in the middle of radiation treatments. As soon as I reached the area where he was laying on the bed, I immediately saw '3' pops of light, one right behind the other. They were quick - and tiny lights. I've never seen anything like that before.  I choose to believe they were his 'angels', watching over him.

I've had several encounters with the dead and spirits. It's great that you and your husband have open minds. A lot of people have had these experiences throughout the ages.

The week after my uncle's death, I was mowing. I kept smelling something and thought my mower was going to blow up. Then I realized it was the smell of my uncle's cough drops. The smell immediately disappeared.

Just 3 weeks ago, I was at Church and praying with my eyes closed after receiving Communion. Suddenly, I felt Mom's presence and then my uncle's presence. I didn't move but reveled in it. Then I saw a picture of Mom, my uncle, and a lot of people. The people didn't have faces but everyone was happy and calm. I talked to my priest and he said it's somewhat common to have mystical visions if one is open to it. It gave me a lot of peace. The Communion of Saints is one of the teachings that I have always loved about my religion.

Before Mom died, I asked her to send me a sign that she's ok. About 6 weeks after she passed, she came to me. It wasn't a dream. I was wide awake. I didn't move and watched her stand there.  It was so peaceful.

If that makes you feel good, then believe it!
