I don't really see the benefit of this??? Seems like more of a hassles and more steps, etc. I'd rather just do it the old fashioned way personally!!!!

Love Amazon, but definitely not for car shopping...as least not for me.

There are all kinds of car buying services now, Carvana, Car Gurus, etc. When I bought my car I went to the dealership I knew what I wanted. I took a test drive then went to my credit union who has a car buying service, I told them the exact color, make and model and they purchased the car for me Called me when it was delivered abd I drove it home. I hate dealing with dealerships. If I were to buy another car, I'd do it the exact same way. Even the day I went to the dealership to test drive. It was a hassle getting out of there because they wanted me to make the sale right then and high pressure

I'm no longer a prime customer due to ordering electronics which was supposed to arrive 2 days later but never did arrive at all.
They have a digital footprint and knew I never received it yet after having to contact c/s to get my money back which was sizeable, they had the audacity to send me a text to ship back my order.
I got the refund trust me on that.

@Mz iMac wrote:@brandiwine In my neck of the woods no "retail" stores/malls sells automobiles.
I do not know of any online "retail" outlet that sells cars other than eBay. If you know of others please school me.
There ARE differences w/each place you listed.
Happy to help you. Retail car dealers in the Denver metro all have online sales departments. Many years ago we found a Toyota Camry online in Kalispell Montana. Called them, made the deal, transferred the money and they put it on a car transport truck and delivered it to a Home Depot parkiing lot less then a mile away. I have to admit, I've never shopped at Macy's or Penney's for a car. HA! !HA!
