I guess I'm in the camp of 'I wish they would just pick one and stick with it'. I do understand why some people enjoy the appearance of more daylight. But it's kind of a pain to have to change some of the things I still have, so that's totally on me. ![]()
One thing is that all of my clocks are from before it was changed. Two of them I can just turn it off and just change the time zone twice a year. But one of them I cannot do that so it changes itself on the old schedule and I have to adjust it, also by just changing the time zone, four times a year now. I was going to replace that one but I really like it, other than that problem, because it has 2" red numbers and I was unable to find a newer one like that. So - I just change it 4 times a year. It doesn't kill me, so I get over it. ![]()
At least everything else now days, except a wall clock I have and a digital clock on the front of my oven, changes itself. I remember back when you had to go all over the house changing everything.

I don't look forward to these extremely long days, as it really plays havoc with your body clock/sleep. Thank goodness for blackout curtains!
@AKgirl2 I was in Alaska in August and it was really weird to walk down the street at 11pm, and it's broad daylight. I wonder if crime decreases in the summer? I don't think they covered that on Alaska State Troopers, one of my favorite shows.
@Kachina624 ~ The sense of never ending daylight is weird for sure, I don't think I'll ever get use to it. As far as crime, I'm thinking crime prevails during the night sky more than in daylight. Sadly, it's a 24 hr. business:/ Stay safe!
