I also don't like the diamond studs on the side of the nose faux or real they're ugly.

Also, don't like the metal piercings hanging from the eyebrows.

Also, don't like the oversized holes in the earlobes that also look absolutely hideous.

In some instances it's cultural.  My friend's mother was here visiting from India and she has a diamond stud on the side of her nose that she's had most of her life.  At the time of her visit my young god daughter wanted her ears pierced.  When she was told not yet, she said, "she has her nose pierced and she looks beautiful!" Didn't help her case.

8 nose piercings - 3 stud, 5 hoop along with eyebrow hoops, black bead X shaped lip bands across both lips & multiple earrings...she loves it, I cringe inside.

Many cultures include nose rings as part of their every day jewelry. I think it is quite beautiful and would never use a word like "satanic" to describe something I personally didn't like. I am okay with what others want to wear, put on their bodies to express themselves. Just because I wouldn't do it doesn't make me the arbiter of what's right for other people.

Re: About nose rings....

[ Edited ]

I recently saw a male store associate...with a gold bolt thru the bridge of his nose.     I couldn't stop staring...

I don't care for nose rings, but few care what I think so I mind my own business.  I think some women look beautiful with the small diamond on the side of their nose.

The Satan talk is just silly.

Not my cup of tea but to each their own.
