Actually,Sundays are always so boring to me.For 1,I'm already getting in the upcoming work week mode.I plan on making fried chicken today,so when my grandson comes Monday,he will have dinner made with all the sides. It will be a short school week for him, since Friday is GOOD FRIDAY.
Wish I had exciting news for everyone, but I don't, so everyone have a great work week and be safe!

Being bored can be a choice.
Consider what you would do if you knew this was your last March Sunday of your life.

I look forward to church, a kicked back day with no repair people, no unexpected happenings usually, and a "soft" day to relax, spend time on catching up on daily devotionals
if I need to do.
A day with more uninterrupted time to read, nap, reflect, and maybe take a walk or drive around the neighborhood to see people's landscaping and such.
I feel very fortunate and thankful I don't have to get ready for Monday work day now.

After my grandfather died, my grandmother said that Sundays were the worst day of the week for her, and she often ended up in tears on Sundays.
I must have inherited my grandmother's weekly feeling of emptiness. But for me, it was Fridays. After my child left for college on the east coast, I kept my routine of grocery shopping after work on Fridays. As I got closer to home with my carload of groceries each Friday, I was on auto-cry.
I knew that when I got home, the house would be quiet & empty. I'd be off the hamster wheel of work that kept me busy & my mind off the aloneness. Going shopping, to a movie, or out to lunch with a friend on the weekend was a temporary fix on a long weekend.
We go through stages in life. Some are wonderful & we wish they'd last forever. A few stages may be sad & we're relieved when they're short stay is over. My grandmother used to remind us that "Whatever it is, it's only temporary."

Sunday is the absolutely worst day of the week for me. Hate them.

For me the anxiety really spikes on Sunday.
I had the Sunday Scaries big time when I was a kid. I used to skip ahead in all my schoolwork and Sunday night was the time for me to freak out over the upcoming new stuff.

@Luvsmyfam Sorry your Sundays are a downer. Since I stopped working full time, I'm home a lot...sometimes too much for my taste. I do my painting, read, have several gym classes and take walks and watch Netflix movies and lucklily still have DH for company when not tax season. My biggest stress factor is thinking when he's no longer here and I'm alone all week...7 days.
