Here in PA I'm pretty sure that if you win they publish your name. I think that could be dangerous and scary.

As for me, I really wouldn't want that much. Too much of a big responsibility. I would have to hire people to manage the funds, etc and I would want to start several charitable foundations. It could be wonderful or a great big headache!

I would be very happy with 5 million (after taxes) to help my kids and a few other people.

@haddon9 Example: In PA as well as NJ: If you sign the back of the ticket LLC Pookie it will be your "public" name. Only your attorney's & the IRS will know your real name.

My sisters MIL had a PA neighbor that won around 400 million many years ago on powerball. They moved, I'm sure trying to be anonymous, but she said it was a really great, very nice family. Only to find out one of their kids lived in my dads lady friends neighborhood, and they also moved. Also a very nice family, too.

It's nice that it can truly change some lives.

Imagine our charities we could support. Just dreaming.........
