@CalminHeart Blessings to you and your family.

So sorry about your brother, and he is so young.  I have a brother, and though we are not particularly close, I know I will be devastated when he is gone. ( He is older than me by just two years, but I should not assume he will go first.)

Blessings to your family.  There is no easy way to deal with this.

Your brother sounds like a very brave and remarkable person.  I'm so sorry you and your family are going thru this.

@JoePE   This must have been a difficult holiday for you. I'm so sorry for your loss. I've been married for 53 yrs. as well and can't imagine the lonliness you feel.

I'm hoping the holidays bring some good memories to get you through this season and that it does get easier for you. 💕

@CalminHeart

I am very sorry for your family to have to absorb this type of devastating news.  Words like this stun, and hurt to the core; I know that feeling of stinging tears, throat tightness and the hard blow to the gut that leaves you unsure of being able to take your next breath.

In my circumstances, I face it every day knowing this is in His hands, same as it has always been.  I'm not supposed to worry about how many days are left; my job is to enjoy each day we are given, and make it count.

Prayers of peace for your family.

@CalminHeart  I'm sorry to hear this. It's a hard thing to go through. Please know that I will be keeping him and the family in my prayers.
