5,4,3,2,1..... Happy New Year!

[ Edited ]

My goal this coming year is to keep up with my journaling.  I was a dedicated journaler for decades, and dropped the ball recently. (New Year's pun intended)

I created this little guide for my nightly reflections.

I thought some of you might find it meaningful.

In any case, wishing all of you the best year yet :-)

@house_cat  I hadn't kept a journal since I was 12. They called them a diary then.

  When my granddaughter was born I decided to write a page occasionally about her and my thoughts.
   It starts with her birth and she is now 12. One medium size book still has room. I write when Something is important. Ie. recitals, shopping, holidays etc.

   I just posted a page of our Christmas and things we did. I thanked her again for two paintings she gave me.
   My grandmother did the same once for me. She was in the hospital and wrote down memories. I often read it and always see something different with our relationship and how much she loved me!

@1Snickers

What a precious memento to leave for her! If I'm ever blessed with a grandchild I will do the same thing!

I have never journaled and can't imagine what I would ever write about.  Or when I would do it.  Or that I would ever look at it again.

I admire people who can do that.
