Hey everyone, I can't believe it's December already.

I had a nice Thanksgiving meal with my sister. I didn't do any shopping over the weekend. I did get the tree and house decorations up on Saturday. Yesterday I paid my respects to my Aunt (Ma's sister) who passed away before Thanksgiving.

My sister has today off so we are going to the movies. It's been a long time since I went to the movies. We're going to see a movie called Knives Out. I think it's a murder mystery along the lines of Agatha Christie.

I'll let you know after I see it

Sure is quiet around here. Guess the holiday tired everyone out. We had a good dinner,seemed funny just the 2 of us,but relaxing.

i go Tuesday for my colonoscopy,just routine,but please think good thoughts that everything's OK. Thank you ladies for always being here for each other 💕

I'm taking a break from shoveling, at my age I take a lot of breaks. 😆 I won't tackle the driveway, but I want to clear a path for the mailman, and a path for me to the garage. I did get half of the end of my driveway done, because it will only get worse with the plow going by. The snow is pretty, but also a PITA . The tree will have to wait for tomorrow, sigh.

No snow at my part of the fence.Cold and windy.

Got the house all decorated inside and out.Presents all bought,just need to wrap.Nice to be able to just relax.

Got a good report today from my oncologist.Don"t have to go back for 6 months.Next week have an appointment with my cardiologist.Going to doctors appointments gets me out of the house lol

Hope everybody has a good week.Left some sugar cookies and hot chocolate for anyone who would like some.

I just finished watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer on CBS. Still gets me emotional all these years later.

I know what the cookie is really called. I grew up calling them feffer-newtons.

I always ate Stella D'oro brand at the holiday and they changed the recipe (it's not the same to me).

My sister bakes me feffer-newtons so I get my fix that way. The other day I went to her house and she had little gingerbread men. I had one with a cup of coffee - really good,

I'm leaving a few bags of the gingerbread men. Not an overpowering taste and great with coffee or tea.

Thanks Bernie! - actually sat outside for a little while today. Not real warm but very nice. Suppose to start raining any time now and continue thru the night. Also get a bit chilly.

Ate my bagels inside this morning for breakfast - they were - as usual - super good.
