Re: Can Anyone recommend High Quality Vitamins?

I had a bone density test dome and I have the start of osteopenia in my hip and my Dr. recommended Vitamin D 1,000 units daily. She said to get high quality vitamins. I have never taken any vitamins  or any medications in my life and I am 62. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

Cuddlesmama:  Some good brands have been suggested here.  However - just as a heads-up and in case this happens to you - when I started taking vitamins regularly I discovered that the high doses (e.g. 1,000 IU Vitamin D, as an example) made me feel nauseous.  I still take them regularly but went down to smaller doses more times a day, and that worked well.  Just something to keep in mind.
