Re: SEVENTIES' DETECTIVE SERIES

This is the real Charlie's Angels! I loved the theme song, too.

  I like Cannon.

William Conrad was cute, I think.....a big teddy bear.  Heart

Re: SEVENTIES' DETECTIVE SERIES

I know, @Judaline

I own all the series, and one of the movies.

I personally like Cheryl Ladd.  There is no "real" Charlie's Angels.

Re: SEVENTIES' DETECTIVE SERIES

My all time favorite is the original Hawaii Five-O with Jack Lord.  I watched as a teenager with my mom - she loved Jack Lord.  I watch the reruns every night on ME-TV.

Other favorites are Columbo (watch the reruns often), Vegas, Police Woman, McMillan and Wife, Matt Houston, Mannix.  I liked William Conrad in Jake and the Fatman with a very handsome Joe Penny (also because it was in Hawaii).  A few weeks ago Decades Channel had a weekend marathon of Police Story from the 1970's.  I had forgotten about that show.  The episodes I saw were very good.

I don't agree with you, but it's fine to disagree. I personally like the original Angels and I guess that's what I meant or should have said. You say tomato and I say tomahto kinda thing.

@Judaline. These were the Angels I watched. Farrah was my favorite.

Re: SEVENTIES' DETECTIVE SERIES

@Oznell

I love William Conrad.  Cannon and Nero Wolfe.

That voice.  You mentioned his narration of the “The Fugitive”, he really narrated a lot of different shows.  Even some of the narration for The Rocky & Bullwinkle Show!

A detective series I like from the early 60’s is “Checkmate”. (2 seasons)

Creator and head writer was the great Eric Ambler.   Starred Doug McClure, Sebastian Cabot and Anthony George.

Had lots of great, famous guest stars including Joseph Cotten, Margaret O’Brien, Cyd Charisse, Martin Landau, Charles Laughton, Joan Fontaine.

Toma starring Tony Musante

Baretta- Robert Blake

Starsky & Hutch

Columbo - I still watch this guy on Sunday

McMillian & Wife

Ironside

I have to give an honorable mention to Matt Houston he was in the 80's - what a good looking man!!!.

What memories!
