Well, I finally watched it ... and thought it was one of the better pilots I've ever seen. Many first episodes can be confusing and hard to follow.

I wasn't confused even once about the characters or storyline. This show has good writers.

I was also please to see Jeff Perry (previously Cyrus on Scandal) in the series. He's a good actor, and paired with Hillary, I think it will work well.

Just an OT tidbit ...........

Did you know that Jeff Perry was married to "Jackie" .... Roseanne's sister .... many moons ago.

They had a daughter, Zoe, who is also an actress .... she is Sheldon's mother on Young Sheldon. Not hard to see the resemblance.

I particularly liked that they started with her character's back story rather than the usual formulaic flashbacks over time. It helps explain the harshness of her character which no doubt will soften as she discovers herself.

The eyes through which you see others may be the same as how they see you.

Watched the first episode and will not continue. I don't like where the story is headed even though the acting was good.

I think the show is well done, and Hilary is the perfect choice for the lead character. I also think we'll be seeing "quirky" characters throughout.

Every time they show a long shot of the scenery ... pine forests etc ... I just want to take a deep breath of that beautiful oxygen-rich air!

I also like the poet who's a pilot.
