I've ALWAYS believed they executed an innocent man. And Lindberg was a raging anti-Semite. He made no secret of that. I've never had an ounce of respect for him. Not an ounce.

The Lindbergh house, Highfields, was not far from where we lived.  Back then the state owned it and it was a a boys' home for juvenile offenders.

I watched it the other evening on Netflix.

 

From the program I saw, I would say they got the right man although the show suggested there were others involved that weren't apprehended.

 

I just don't see why they had to kill the baby.
