Will have to watch.  I liked the series and even more so knowing the man was the actual person.  I love the actress who played the stalker, she was so good in The Outlaws as well.  Piers will love doing this interview and won't take any nonsense.  Thank you for the heads up.

I hate to say this, but I can see her point. The show doesn’t say “based” on a true story, but that this is a true story. And although I’m sure I should know better, there’s still a distinction there IMO. I absolutely assumed that she had been arrested and, from what limited googling I did, that doesn’t appear to be so. So, why not just say “based” so it’s more obvious it’s dramatized?

He waited 6 months to report stalking to the police...

All he notified the police were the "stalking" emails....

NEVER mentioned about the knocked down physical fight w/his trans girlfriend.  POLICE WERE NEVER CALLED!

NEVER mentioned about her breaking a glass cup of diet coke up the side of his head in front of numerous witnesses.  Again, POLICE WERE NEVER CALLED!
