O/T Need to vent!!!!!

More of a viewer than poster, but want to ask you guys--am I being overly sensitive?

One of my best friends had her bday this past w/e. She wanted to go to a casino for a few hours and I told her that was fine.

2 weeks ago, I fell on the ice & fractured my leg. Told her I didn't feel up to going on her bday, but would go another w/e as I am on crutches and will be for about another 10-14 days.

She is now not speaking to me. Do you all think that is selfish, of is it just me?
