Every time I make chicken soup, it doesn't have that real chicken flavor I remembered as a child. I know that today everything is processed so much, that all the real flavor is gone. I find that even the ready made chicken broths in the cartons don't carry any flavor either. Yet when I have this soup in a restaurant, it always tastes better. Do any of you know what the secret is to good tasting soup? In my soup I add the whole chicken, broth, salt, carrots, celery,onions, bay leaf, fresh parsley, cook for couple of hours.
