I found this recipe on Pinterest.Just got done making it.Very good.I changed it a little bit.I
used 6 large pieces of chicken breast.
Crockpot pulled barbecue chicken
4-6 pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breast
18-oz bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce ( I used sweet baby ray's )
1/4 c. vinegar ( I used 1 T. ) I don't like it to have it taste like vinegar,but use your own judgement.
1t.red pepper flakes ( I used only 1/4 t. ) again it's up to you.
1/4 c. brown sugar ( can use more if you like. )
1/2-1 t. garlic powder.
Mix the BBQ sauce with the rest of the ingredients, and place chicken in crockpot and pour sauce over it.Cook on low for 4-6 hrs.I did mine for 5 hours.Remove chicken and shred it with a couple forks and place back in crockpot for about a 1/2 hr.It may be a little runny, but placing the shredded chicken back in the crockpot helps.Trial and error is how I do it. Enjoy!
