Re: That GILI dress...I'm dying laughing.

Under a rock is where this dress belongs.  It does not even look good on Kirsten.

It's not an ugly dress, but it's definitely bodycon so a supportive bra and shapewear would make it look better. However, I'm a plus size apple so I stay away from that style. Doesn't mean all plus size gals should avoid it, we're all not built the same.

Lisa Robertson started this line with HER GREAT taste and the quality was the best then, and the style. I have many things when it was Lisa's line, now I see the style and quality of material especially the handbags has gone down....Not a GILI customer any longer.

@dancing 522queen   Lisa started this line with exactly how she wore her clothes.  Everything was skin tight and body-conscious.  The “scuba” material dresses and skirts, the uber-tight faux leather jackets that she could barely zip up.  That was always my problem with GILI — sizing was horrendous unless you liked wearing your clothes too tight and uncomfortable.  She patterned it after her preferred fit.  I never purchased GILI clothes during Lisa’s helm.  Regardless of the size you wear, it was all about the tight fit.   I liked the handbags, but that was it.

GILI has continued with some of those types of items, but at least Jill has broadened it out to include pieces that are much more attractively fit (my opinion) for women who do not want to look like a sausage.  I now have several GILI items (definitely not that dress from yesterday) and I love them.

I'm still laughing over Jane squeezing into into the Gili faux leather jacket. I have that jacket and you need to go up a size. It is very form fitting. I wish these hosts would just wear clothes that fit them and be less concerned about the size. It does the audience a great injustice.

@Michelebear72

I took a look at the dress.

Be thankful it's not for you.
