The Linea line didn't sell enough to warrant staying on.  I it was always a boutique brand at QVC.  It had a loyal following but small compared to other fashion brands.

My Linea will outlast me!  That is why the line was cut-the items do not succumb to planned obsolescence

Louis was ahead of the game with what is now referred to as "quiet luxury" fashion trend. That was pretty much the basis of the Linea line.
