I love my spurtles, I use them for everything! They were a great purchase for me!

Re: Spurtle. Am I missing something?

I reach for a spurtle for more than half of my kitchen jobs.   I like the sturdiness of the tool, as well as how it feels in my hand, compared to the feel of a spoon or spatula.   I got rid of all of my spatulas except for the smallest one.   Mine did not come from QVC.

This is hilarious as I am on vacation in Scotland right now.  I bought three spurtles yesterday as gifts for 3 pounds each.  I saw them in a fancy Edinburgh  department store for 4 pounds each.

They are for "porridge" (oatmeal) but beware the price you pay!  Mine came with cute tartan bows.

They are Scottish by origin.

You're on my dream vaca!  I hope you're having a great time.  I was going to buy a Spurtle, but I'm going to wait now and get an original.   I love, love, love oatmeal too.
