There are some very bad ingredients in this! 

INGREDIENTS: cake base (sugar, bleached enriched flour [wheat, niacin, reduced iron, ferrous sulfate, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid], dry egg whites, soybean oil, leavening [baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate], dry egg yolk, propylene glycol mono & diesters of fatty acids, food starch- modified, dextrose, mono & diglycerides, salt, non-fat dry milk, sorbitan monstearate, artificial flavor, soy lecithin, cellulose gum, polysorbate 60, xanthan gum), water, heavy cream (cream, carrageenan, mono & diglycerides), powdered sugar (sugar, corn starch), shortening (palm oil, mono & diglycerides, polysorbate 60), white non-perils (sugar, vegetable oils[palm, palm kernel],cornstarch, confectioner's glaze, dextrin, natural & artificial flavor, soy lecithin, carnauba wax, soybean oil), mousse base (sugar, glucose syrup, palm kernel oil, dextrose, corn starch, sodium caseinate [milk],mono & diglycerides, acetylated mono and diglycerides, sodium polyphosphate, sodium alginate, calcium sulphate, salt, potassium phosphates, artificial flavor, beta carotene[color]), sugar, margarine (vegetable oil blend[palm oil & soybean oil],water, salt, soy lecithin, mono & diglycerides, potassium sorbate, citric acid, natural & artificial flavor, beta carotene[color],vitamin A palmitate added, whey),whipped topping natural (water, palm kernel oil, corn syrup ,sugar, coconut oil, sodium caseinate[a milk derivative],dextrose, gum arabic, carbohydrate gum, salt, xanthan gum, natural flavor, rice extract, colored with beta carotene), corn syrup, modified corn starch, artificial vanilla flavor, salt, food colors (FD&C yellow #5,FD&C blue #1, FD&C red #40 & #3, blue #1, yellow #6).

I didn’t see the presentation but are they stating this is a healthy product?

i see the same junk in the grocery store.

@Ketra  and wayyy to expensive! I just checked the price of an Oakmonter cake from the Oakmont (PA) bakery - the best cake on earth. $27.00!

If I'm not dead yet, a slice of cake isn't going to kill me.  If it's the one I saw yesterday, it's lovely cake.  Perfect for Easter or any spring/summer event.  However, with delivery being as slow as it is, I hesistate to buy any food products.

There is nothing healthy about this! The FDA & CDC know and have admitted that all aluminum derivitives cause alzheimer’s and yet they still allow it in our foods. They say it’s just small amounts. Well, when you put it in biscuits, pharmaceuticals, processed foods, and most baked goods that’s not a small amount. Aluminum free baking powder has been around for years now, but many companies are still putting these poisons in our foods. They are even putting aluminum in your local drinking water now in order to “remove disease-causing microorganisms”. We never had so many old and middle aged people with Alzheimer’s as we do now. I wonder why...

Oh good grief, it's a cake...one slice & your done, it's not something you eat everyday. These overblown reactions to ingredients is going to make people stop listening, just like they have with weather warnings.

No problem, do as I do.  I make cakes from scratch.  

My family would throw a fit if they had to eat a "bought" cake, especially for a holiday dinner.

I most  all " bought" baked items have bad ingredients in them.  If not, they would not last very long.  They need to taste fresh more than a day or two and they must look pretty.
