I make silent auction charity baskets for local rescues.  This is one I recently completed.  It came out better than planned!  So fun making it.

I found that cookie jar hat at Home Goods then built items around it.

After losing my 21 year old kitty (several years back), I knew I couldn't emotionally manage having another cat.  

I promised I'd devote myself to financially helping local rescues as much as I could.

While I still adore cats, this helps me and the rescues. 

And, I get to shop, but don't have to keep anything

I really like the platter too.  Does anybody remember when QVC used to sell Beleek sp?  It reminds me of those pieces.

I always loved the Belleek items but resisted buying. 

This one is Certified International and readily available at Target (online) and elsewhere.  In fact, there is a whole collection of this floral.  

I wanted something that could be used all the time rather than just on St. Patrick's Day.  Found this platter and thought the greens were beautiful.
