Anyone have any experience with cleaning a Dooney-Bourke?  I know that they recommend wiping with a damp cloth, but I just snagged a white pebble-grain pocket satchel for literally pennies.  The leather is in good condition but very dirty.  Not my favorite style of Dooney but for the price, I found it hard to pass up.  That is, if I can clean it up - it was worth the chance.  I figured I'd use some Kiwi saddle soap - that's what I use on my Coach's - but just wondering if anyone else has tried and had luck.

I've never had to go beyond wiping with a damp cloth, but I think any leather cleaner good enough for shoes or another handbag would work well.

Here is link to the page on the Dooney site, it varies by type of leather. Saddle Soap removed some of the dye from my pebble leather bag I tried it on.
