Cold-shoulder isn't a trend.  It's just being brought out to the forefront more lately.  But the look has been around forever.

I didn't see Jane so I have no idea what she had on.  I've said before there are some cold-shoulder and split sleeve items I like, some I don't.

The Susan Graver TSV in April is a cold-shoulder dress.  Smiley Happy

When it gets cold out and ladies shoulders are turning blue.

What does that even mean?

If it's that cold out, you will have a coat on.  I think women can mange having their shoulders exposed without freezing to death.

Jane usually looks lovely, but Thursday night was a fail. Oversized cut out cold shoulder AND Obi belt? Just no.

I was just going to post the same thing!  Dress and belt not good on their own, but together, epic fail!

I didn't see the outfit in question but I would think that, given Jane's shape,  a cold shoulder would be flattering on her as the cold shoulder would emphasize her  shoulders and balance out her hips...

As in everything it all depends on the individual garment as well as styling etc.. I did find it to be a bit creepy on a 10 year old child though!

Yes...i saw it on a young girl the other day on TV and was thinking it really was creepy.........not for the young...

not a fan at all of that look.

If you click the link below, it's a video from one of Jane's presentations last night.

This is a cold-shoulder style I don't really care for.

@Lipstickdiva

Thanks for the link.

Not a fan of this particular garment but I stand by what I said; the cold shoulder works for her figure.

Never saw a sweater or coat/jacket with that style and can't imagine why it would work.
