What color are these to you?

They are called "Petrol", but when I search for green or blue shoes by brand, they are not included in either.

These are called "Safari" but read as a mushoom color to me.  Do you think they are more gray or brown?

Lola - to me the first pair is teal.
The second pair is in the brown family - trust me, I KNOW

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

On my screen the first pair appears to be teal and the second one appears to be a medium chocolate brown.

Re: What color are these to you?

I would call the first color "teal" and the second "mushroom."

It never ceases to baffle me why the marketing people for fashion brands feel they need to jazz up the names of colors instead of using color names which makes sense when shoppers are looking at the items.  It's a minor irritant, but one for me nonetheless.  The good thing is we choose the color to purchase by what we see -- not what the manufacturer wants to call it.

You "know" Safari, or you are just an expert in browns?

@Trix

The reviewer wrote about this pair, being a weird orange-mustard color in person.  She returned them and got the Safari instead.

These are called "Brandy."
