Where is that drapery dress displayed?  The Smithsonian?  If not, it should be.

@depglass   The curtain dress is at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.  But it's "currently not on view."  I guess someone wanted to borrow it.  Smiley Happy

Thank you.  This was absolutely the most hysterical moment on comedy TV.  I love when it comes up on some re-run, perhaps Time-Life videos or something?

I agree that Bob Mackie was totally disrespected by QVC.  No mention of his years of beautiful fashion designs that he brought to the average person.  I have so many of his clothes, and they are timeless pieces that never go out of style. Also, not every design was sequinned  or cruise ship attire.  l have many jackets that I wear daily, that cannot be duplicated. QVC did not realize that he had a good customer base with their company, and now they cater too much to younger shopper, and are abandoning their original clients.  So sad. Thank you Mr. Mackie for your beautiful fashions!
