And, oh ... by the way, I'll be going into rehab for about six weeks after my surgery next month.   Send me some suggestions on more music ... jazz, classical are my preferences.

@SoX  One of the complaints people have about the one I ordered is that it looks old fashioned.  It has a USB port and Bluetooth connectivity.  There is also a variant that accommodates an ipod.  I've never owned an ipod and that irked the heck out of my husband - he loved new technology.

i am very sorry to hear about your health issues.

We walked every day while gone. The walking is solving lots of problems here.

The first morning I could not stand on left leg! (Due to hip)

Had gotten word from the MD that the dexascan showed bone loss in my hip, which is no surprise to me. 

His recommendation: weight-bearing exercise.

I’m sure I have told this story before, but as one of the highlights of my life, I will mention it again! HA

When we were practically newlyweds, DH got tickets to a dinner theater in which ROBERTA  FLACK  AND PEABO BRYSON were performing! We sat no more than 10 feet away from them in a small venue! We were amazed and blown away! I still get chills.

I got rid of our Pioneer turntable and our albums... somebody shoot me!

High of 82 today in SW FL.  Humidity is back, it can be stifling.  

Im scheduled for lung CT scan and pulmonology test Friday, the13th!  Had bronchitis a month ago, can’t seem to get my oxygen level up. 90 today. Ideal 95-99.

Bryson ... in fact, I think I have every Roberta Flack album from back in the day.   I wish I had seen her live ... you were so lucky!

I've never lost my love of listening to old albums ... if you could see the hundreds (probably upwards of a few thousand)  of albums my husband and I have, you'd be amazed.  Years ago he had special cabinets built to his specifications for his collections.  Music is such a big part of my life ...

Is that  your granddaughter?   How beautiful she is!
