So I admit I have paid more than $125 for a blouse and they have served me well.

I get that some woman would feel all right paying that much for a white shirt that they would wear for years.  

For me, I just wouldn't get the return on my dollar.

It was a nice shirt, but was thinking it looked a lot like the men's white shirt (with French cuffs) that I recently bought for myself at Kohl's.  

It was under $30 and looks very nice on.

"Back in the day" when I was working and needed to dress in suits or dresses every day, I probably would have considered buying that shirt.  

I needed more clothing, and didn't mind the expense when something lasted more than one or two seasons.  Or, if I needed something for a special occasion.

Now, I'm retired and....I would likely wear out before that blouse did

That's crazy for a shirt from QVC.  That's the same as or more than what they are at Anthropologie.  Ridiculous.  It doesn't look that special either.

This top sells out just about every time it's on.  It's not a top that you'll have to replace next season.

You know what they say you get what you pay for. It's true in most cases.

I pay more money for my shoes than my clothes. If your feet are not happy neither are you. LOL!!!

I like that $125 shirt. If it did not have the long tail on it I would buy it if the hem was same all the way around about hip length.

I rarely wear button down shirts so I would never get good cost per wear out of this garment.
