Re: $125.00 for a shirt, don't think so

It's lot but it's not an outrageous sum for a good shirt.  I paid $80 or $90 for Ralph Lauren shirts in Macy's.

It looks nice and I like the white one the best...I would just wait for Lunchtime or Primetime specials...even clearance or "as is"  and you will get a bargain...at least there is easy pay!Smiley Wink

It must be the Lyocell fabric that makes it so expensive.

Re: $125.00 for a shirt, don't think so

The adage you get what you pay for means nothing when it comes to off the rack clothing! It only applies to the label and sometimes exclusivity but it certainly doesn't change where the garment is made or the textiles used to make it; unless you're purchasing from a French couturier it's all pretty much the same!

The idea that I have to spend $125 for something to last me more than one season is pure fiction. Inexpensive does not always mean poor quality much the same as expensive doesn't always mean great quality.

I buy what I like and what works in my budget. If I spend more than usual it's because something is special to me not because it's better than anything else I've purchased

I have purchased shoes for 100-150$ and shoes at Walmart for 18$...sad to say the cheap shoes served me better and felt better. I'm talking athletic shoes.  I guess I have cheap feet.  I don't believe you get what you pay for in all cases.  Alot of it is pure "hype".

The white version wasn't bad ... but didn't look any better than an SG liquid knit white shirt.

The blue shirts were awful.  I don't like the messy dyed look.
