@151949 that is what I do with all of my pics...I have a tracfone and will send the pics to my Google drive account via email just in case the phone will not work...learned this lesson several years ago when my phone would not turn on and I lost several pictures..Because I shared via email I was able to get some of those pics back. 

Be advised, using e-mail may automatically change or reduce the size of the photo.  This can effect the quality if you ever want to make a print.  It's much better to transfer the photos from your phone to your computer then stored some place other than the hard drive.
