For most people it's between 40 and 60. Ask a 20yo and they'll tell you 40. Then ask a 80yo and they might say 60. It's relative.

People start acting middle aged in their 30s in my experience.

50 to 70. I don't see anyone as a senior until they enter their 70's, even though Medicare says 65. All of my kids are in their 40's, and I still view them as young. Of course I'm seeing them through eyes that are nearing age 80. 😉

I'd say 45ish. Some people are living to be older but I know many that have passed away too.

When I was in my early 30s, my allergist referred to me as middle aged and I was upset.
Logically, middle age is 40 to 45 but it really doesn't matter as far as I can see.

I think 40 was established years ago, but people are living much longer, and stay younger looking now, so I'd say 50.
